Frequently Asked Questions
What is the interview process?
We conduct an on-site visual assessment and temperament evaluation. Bring your health records and any EPD documentation. Gary (COO) will conduct the final walkthrough โ don't be intimidated by his ears.
Is relocation assistance available?
We can coordinate livestock transport for qualified candidates within Colorado and neighboring states. Long-distance relocation is considered on a case-by-case basis.
What is the company culture like?
Relaxed. Literally. You'll spend your days grazing, walking around, and occasionally being stared at by alpacas. Board meetings happen at sunrise and consist mostly of eating. Karlos (CEO) sets the tone: nap hard, eat harder.
Are there opportunities for advancement?
Our organizational chart is already quite full (see The Team page), but we believe in recognizing talent. Several current executives started as regular herd members.
What's the dress code?
Your natural coat is fine. We do appreciate a well-maintained hide, but there's no formal grooming requirement. Lisa (CMO) may critique your look, but that's just how she is.

Think You're a Good Fit?
We'd love to hear from you. Send your pedigree, health records, and a brief cover letter explaining why you'd be a great addition to the High Plains team.
